LOL... That was hilarious. I was laughing the whole time. I especially liked when his fingers moonwalked.
PJ, I bet Michael could go unnoticed if he wanted to... I just don't think he wanted to. He fed on attention and I think he would panic if he ever lost that attention... Remember how he always proclaimed "You ain't seen nothin' yet" and all that? I think he said that in a desperate attempt to keep people looking forward to his next move... It's a shame really, cuz he should have known that he had us at "hello" He didn't need to impress us all the time, but I think he thought he did...He was so afraid of dissapointing people and to not be the best. That's a lot of stress to put on yourself...
I hope this didn't come of as negative... |
No, Janni, it did not come accross as negative at all. I know exactly what you meant, and I agree. I think he was really torn between wanting to be "unnoticed"- and then panicking when he did not get noticed. There are numerous stories out there of friends advising him to "just put on a cap" and him just having to pull out those curls..so yeah, I totally agree with what you said: He really already had us at 'hello.'- And never lost us.
Well, he lost me a bit by the whole Diana Gross crush and the Twatum nightmare.. Yuck! But other than that, I'm good..

Everytime I go onto youtube in order to satisfy my fetish by searching for images of Michael Jackson's fingers and hands, the MJ finger dancing inevitable turns up. I have avoided these videos like the plague. PJ you have now forced me to watch. Thanks. This was a riot. ROFLMAO. The kids loved it too. One of them, an authority on MJ dancing was amazed and informed me that the owner of those fingers ". . . really has to know the dance in order to do that with his fingers." This made our day.

These are Russian nesting dolls, otherwise know as babushka dolls. A babushka is a Russian grandmother. The traditional dolls usually have smaller dolls of either gender enclosed in a larger doll with a matronly female figure. So, for this one I can only say it is a poorly conceived graphic equivalent of a literary mixed metaphor. This rates a head scratcher AND a blank stare on the WTH meter.
I think this pathetic, yet adorable, attempt to grow a mustache deserves a blank stare Gotta love him for trying though
Ooooo, that's an 80s stache! Well, late 80s, but still cool. I think he looks hot.
Well, except for the trucker hat, cuz I don't like those, even on him. |

I agree, they don't look pretty. That one doesn't look like the other times he's let his stubble go, so maybe it's fake, or he was carefully grooming it for a purpose. I'm trying to remember, guaging by the approximate time this picture seems to have been taken, which was late 80s, what kind of staches they were wearing. Hmmm, now I'll have to investigate.
I think it's real... He also had a very non-manly stache at that award show in 1986 where he looked like he wanted to kell Diana when they were on stage together to accept something for WATW... Some people just can't grow a beard and some are just very late bloomers... He also had some stray hairs during the Thriller era and imo, if you can't grow 'em, shaven 'em.. Otherwise you end up looking like a boy who wants to be a man. But I still love him... How romantic would it be to shave him?? Both above and below
Maybe it just stands out more cuz his skin is lighter than in the Thriller days, cuz the stache at that '86 award show stood out more too...

Who just happened to get the picture from MOI! I found it on a site, but not sure of the details surrounding it. Anyone???
These are the characters from Captain Eo! Which I know because I saw it ...a couple of times...(ahem) when in Disney land last year. Not enough to remember their names though (Michael's bootie in 3 D MAY have distracted me).
I thought they were the Eo crew as well, but for some reason I didn't pay much attention to them.. The man in the tight pants with the cod piece distracted me too...
Btw, I think you got the pic from Suz, PJ, cuz I never posted it anywhere... Did I?? |
