Debbie about Michael and Lisa's relationship

Debbie addresses rumors about Michael and Lisa. This was early 1998- Debbie is about 7 month pregnant with Paris. Michael and Prince are in the background (LOL about the lolly pop comment). To put this into context: Michael and Lisa's Ivy pictures also happened February 1998. Good friends, indeed.

I dunno what to make of that. I really don't. So I'll just stick to Prince and the lollipop . So cute he has his daddy's sweet tooth. haha. Michael was def meant to be a father.

What I take this to mean was that she had to make some kind of statement, and this was it. I don't know, I think it might have just worked better to have her not say anything at all. And only talk about Prince and Michael's love of lollypops the whole time. Generally, good friends do not have pictures of them like this: (this was taken Feb 1998- around the same time this interview dates to). I mean,I have lots of close friends....but other than my husband I am not THAT close with any of them.

See, things like this make me mad Michael. If you are married, you are married and you need to honor that.  If you don't love that person and don't want to be married to them, then become unmarried.  I know in his mind, MJ was still married to Lisa, but come on!  Of course, this public display could have been HER way at getting back at Debbie for inserting herself (wrong image) into their marriage in the first place.

....sigh...everything just has to be so complicated with him!

Oh, I agree, PJ.  I also think it was an "in your face!" gesture directed at Lisa's mother.  Lisa just had turned 30 and finally got handed control of Elvis' affairs.  Per Elvis' will she was supposed to step into Mommy's shoes at age 25.  However, that is when she married Michael- and Priscilla got everything pushed back to 30 due to Lisa's "bad decisions."  Go figure.

This was the only time during their carrying on time that probably spanned from somewhere around 96 to early 2000s that they were THAT public with what went on.  Well, other than the constant hand holding in London, South Africa etc.  

What I would like to know is if Debbie's interview was before or after the Ivy Pics hit.  If I had been her, all bets would have been off after I saw those pictures.  Like Pj, said, love her or not, they were married and even I (I do not have much love for Debbie) feel slightly bad for her for having the "friendship"rubbed in her face like that.

I have to kinda say. I don't feel bad for Debbie . Simply because she knew exactly what she was getting into. She didn't care about Michael's marriage when she offered to have his children and she knew that he did not love her in that way  or should i say the way that he loved Lisa at that time.  Debbie did not respect the vows of Michael marriage and  I feel that it works both ways. If you choose to do something such as this with a married man Be it Michael Jackson or anyone,  You can not expect him to be romantically loyal to you. The main reason that Michael and Lisa  did not work was because she broke a major promise to him which also broke his heart-otherwise I believe they would have lasted longer. Not forever but longer  Although to be honest I'm glad that Debbie didn't respect his vows of marriage because then Prince and Paris wouldn't be here and Children are always blessings
