Rebbie Jackson was on the Today Show on NBC this morning. She talked out the kids (sigh..), and coping with Michael's death. She was asked about the investigation and said, "I have to be very careful about what I say." She might want to pass that advice on to others in her family. When asked about the responsibility of Conrad Murray, she said it would be very interesting of what would be revealed and that it might show it's about more than him.
Also, Rebbie is getting ready to perform and she was plugging her show. I have not seen Rebbie out (meaning in the media) in forever- but she certainly has been in the news these past weeks. Funny to compare her to Janet or LaToya- she seems much more natural and less "affected" for less of a better word. I am sure the interview will be on youtube- and will post when it is. |
Wait, Rebbie is getting a show I heard Siggie, Jackie's son, was getting a show as well. And I think the lawyers have already advised the family on what may harm the case and what may not harm the case. If speaking about their brother's problem would harm the case, they would have been told so.

I don't know, Annie_ok... What lawyers? The case is tried by the State of Ca... and I'm sorry, I don't trust that they sat down with the family, telling them what would and would not be wise to say. It's not that I don't think that there is not more behind Michael's death, .. ('cause I do) . However, if they talk this aspect up too much before the trial, they run the danger of having potential juror''s have reasonable doubt about Murray's guilt. I mean, if you say that there are "others" - it is not a far leap to say, well, if there were others, then Murray is not guilty. NOTE: I don't think that- but I think it's a problem that gets aggravated by comments such as "there are others," and "he was in denial" (as Janet said). The focus of this case needs to be Murray.
Personally, I believe Murray IS responsible- AND I also think there is a broader context (which does not absolve Murray from his responsibility). And yes- everyone with the last name Jackson will have a show soon. |

And a recording contract
And a clothing line And a line of licensed products But I digress... I agree. I don't think everyone has been briefed, simply because the lawyers are up to their necks in preparation and they probably didn't anticipate that everyone and their cousin--or godfather--would come out of the woodwork with a story to tell. They had no idea what they were dealing with. Noone did. I also think all the "spouting off" will harm the case, both the manslaughter case and the soon-to-come wrongful death suit. People should wait until after those are resolved to bring up their conspiracy theories in full force; I'm not certain talk about Michael being in denial will help at any point, now or in the future. All that does is sully his memory. It can't help him now. |
