I realllllllllly don't understand some "fans"

I cannot believe people are still believing that Michael did not have vitiligo but he bleached his skin. Do some research people!!!! Not even I believe that crap anymore and I'm the most skeptical person in the world!!!

Now they are saying his son has fungus under his arms!!! And these are fans

Michael bleached his skin and his son has fungus!!!! His son is no longer is his son but Arnie Klein's son?!?!

Michael was addicted to plastic surgery and hated being black?!?!

I cannot believe "fans" are spreading this crap  I can't believe I bought into this crap at one point. Now that the man is dead, they still dragging him through the dirt. And his poor offspring are getting scrutinized just like he was. Pics all across the web of that child's white patch in the armpit and people are calling it every name in the book. People are making up fathers for these kids. Michael was their father dammit!!!  

Oh how silly that I was a part of that stupid flock in the past. But for people to still be sheep to the media and haters is just unbelievable.

I am with you 100% on this subject.   More than what is being said,  I object to the exploitation and invasion of those children's  privacy.  Ms. Katherine probably sent those children on vacation to be away from the hub-bub that was going to take place that weekend in LA when they are still grieving the loss of their father.  Secondly, I object to these children being scrutinized and hounded in exactly in the manner that their father was treated.  One of the stories that I saw was partially entitled, " Like father, like son?"  I really feel for those children and fear what is to come with all of the pap stalking and internet hacking  they have already been subjected to.

 But, I did not know that the people saying these things claimed to be fans too--maybe they are, as you indicate, "fans" (heavy emphasis on the quotation marks)--faux fans, fair weather,  fakers, whatever you want to call them.  (With fans like that, does Michael need any haters?)   Some people will do any logic-defying twisted back flip of  falsehood  to make any and everything Michael Jackson ever said a lie.  They only show their ignorance in making these comments.  

For research, "fans" may want to start with 7th grade Medelian genetics, followed by a good dose of  unabridged American history, E. Franklin Frazier's, "The Negro Family in the United States," or alternatively for those who do not want to bother reading,  the films "Roots," "Queen," and "Imitation of Life" (1934, or 1959).

 Exactly! Knowing that Michael was human does not equate to him lying about everything. Before they accept the obvious or what Michael already told them, they rather find alternate explanations. Mindboggling. Just recently I had to convince "fans" that he did not thin his lips or get eye lifts or eyes stretched . They're just eating up all the media lies. The "fans" don't trust anything he said.

 I have not seen the pictures of Prince's "white patches" nor do I care to.  The pictures could be real; they could be doctored.  If Prince does have patches, they could have a number of causes.  However, whether or not he has patches, or what his medical conditions may be is none of my business nor anyone else's for that matter.  

I feel similarly about his biological parentage; Michael loved and raised his children.  That is all I or anyone else need to know.  The love and the shared memories are what make a family, not necessarily DNA.  I believe the media speculation about their biological lineage is a slap in the face to every child who does not look exactly like their parents or siblings, and a double slap to every child born through assisted reproductive techniques or adopted into a family.  

I am appalled the paparazzi took pictures of the children on vacation and are now spreading them.  This is not Rihanna, Angelina Jolie, or any other publicity-seeking celebrity, these are children, who should be allowed to grow and develop as such without the intense scrutiny of the public and the media.  The media should leave Michael's children alone, period.

I see what you're saying PJ, and you're right, DNA does not make a parent. I guess I am just frustrated by both sides. The side of fans who are almost celebrating this child's skin condition and parading it like "yeah see Michael was telling the truth bi@#hes". I get even more frustrated at people trying to come up with every idea to make those not his kids. I know it could be anything under his arms, but let's not make stuff up like we really know, and of all things skin fungus???

It's sad for me because it's like looking in the mirror at how I use to act. And  I do not like how Michael's word is treated like a grain of salt. Even though the paternity doesn't affect my life, Michael was too happy to say those were his babies. He was too happy to say how he ran from the hospital with the baby still wet. Giggling about Prince's applehead favoring Randy. And now fans say they might be his kids. No, they are his kids. He told you they were his kids. This doesn't happen with other celebrities. No one questioned Will Smith's kids. So that whole interview about his kids was basically reduced to "Michael's a liar or could have been lying and we shouldn't trust him about anything."

And those poor kids' day of fun in the sun basically turned into a media frenzy. I wouldn't be too quick to call the people who stalked them paparazzi. There are many fans just as obsessed with the kids and  I have witnessed one fan  pretend to be a white supremacist to convince people that those were his kids. I wouldn't be surprised if a "fan" was responsible for the pics.  

I guess it is a good think I am safely on vacation- I am missing all this madness.  

As you all pointed out- it is absolutly none of anyone's business if Prince has white patches on his skin and where they came from.  Sadly, some of Michael's fans need to understand that being a fan of Michael does not give you some kind of bizarre ownership of the children or their affairs.  Had Michael wanted that- he would not have invested so much energy into keeping their privacy preserved.

Also, Michael's kids are his kids - no matter if they are biologically his or not.  I am not saying either way, because I don't know.  Even all the self proclaimed sperm donors (and how many people did Michael supposedly ask for sperm, anyway??)- all make the point that these are Michael's children, period.  

I totally get how frustrated you are Annie.  I shake my head about some fans so much, I get dizzy at times.  We must not forget that many of these people do not have the background, education or understanding, maturity (there is a big one), or just common sense to know when to just shut up and let things be.  It is very annoying - esp since the same folks get very upset if you try to make sense and point out things to them.  Sigh!

It;s good thought that was have a place like this- where we can vent in safety! :)

I think it is very big of you to admit you used to hold ignorant view points regarding Michael, Annie.  A lot of people would never own up to that.  I agree with all of you that some of Michael's fans really need to re-examine whether or not they deserve to be called that (fans).

Ok, their birth certs. say Jackson, and their father is Michael Joseph Jackson.   That's enough for me.  As a parent, my kids' lives and privacy are mine to decide, not the public's.   Same courtesy should extend to him, celebrity or no.  It's one thing to go after him, but these are just children, trying to navigate those waters in a world suddenly without the only parent they've ever known.  Leave them alone.

Kudos to you, Annie, for admitting that.  No shame in it,  just glad you saw the truth and embraced it.  If you can, everyone can, we all have the power in us to change.
